Dehumidification
In many parts of the US, traditional greenhouse cultivation methods are sufficient to control humidity. These methods include radiant heating for condensation prevention, natural ventilation to remove moist air, and proper water practices to reduce water accumulation on plant surfaces.
There are geographic locations especially along the Gulf Coast, Great Lakes Area, and Northeastern U.S. when supplemental dehumification systems are necessary to protect plant health as well as the overall growing environment. Additional humidity protection provides insurance against plant disease or pest outbreaks, which can harm the crop and cause financial distress.
Nexus provides consultation on developing sound humidity management practices or makes recommendations on supplemental equipment. As your greenhouse partner, the health of your plants a top priority.
